Art begets Art

Went to an art show by a friend, Celino, last night. He paints historic homes and makes unique light sculptures from combining cast offs in unusual and whimsical ways. Celino brings light into our world and inspires us to see old things in new ways. A while back we did a swap meet together and I bought a large frame from him. In turn it inspired this video.

Thanks Celino for your contribution to recycled light art and re-imagined beauty on this earth.

Tear Stained

Finally decided to post this video. It was time. It got to the point where my computer was freezing up on me and I was concerned I'd lose the whole thing. The imagery has been gathered over the past 2 years, most recently Elise and I did the trees and pool shoot. I didn't know then what I was shooting for, but when I heard the song I knew. Joe Baldelli is a wonderful friend and a gifted musician. His music often gives me visions.

Don't think I can say it any better than that.

I'd love to hear your interpretation. I'm still trying to interpret it myself. You see, when I do these things I don't have anything particular in mind. I let them evolve on their own. It's only after the fact that I can sometimes parallel what is going on in my life, with what is being portrayed by the imagery in my videos. It's often metaphorical.

Time Flies and So Do I

Oooooh, string theory. We're all vibrating at the core. And the cicadas I'm hearing are riding the waves of the the vibrations perhaps?



Meanwhile the ninja gets revenge on the hula hippo in this remix. Short and sweet, revenge that is. You see, the computer decided to remix this itself. Virus? Frustrating is all I can say.
Kind of like it anyway.

Cement Shoes

The Hippo vid has gone viral on a European site. Over 2,000 hits in the last two days. Funny how that happens. I have no idea how or why. Then again, I've been an entertainer all my life, so I must know something. What that is, I don't know. Would somebody please clue me in?

Working on a new video. It's clogging up my computer. Freezing it up. I hear a Mac would help. So I'm a dreaming again. Manifesting.

I'm chomping at the bit to share this new video, but can't quite yet. . . . 'til then, here's a blast from the past.
